The Story of Leisy and Her Garden

This space began as a dream.

I left Santo Domingo because I was tired of the stress and pace of the city. I wanted a different kind of life. One that felt more grounded, more connected, and closer to the land. I wanted a garden. I wanted a kitchen. Together with my partner Austin, we slowly built this place with care. The garden came first. Then the restaurant. Then the cabins and shared spaces that allow people to gather here today.

Retreats were never the starting point. They grew naturally from the life we were creating. People wanted to experience this place with us: to share meals around the table, reconnect with nature, and become part of the community that was forming here.

Leisy's Garden continues to grow from that same dream: a place to slow down, connect with the land, share with others, and create meaningful experiences together.
