Getting here

How do groups get here?

Fly into Santo Domingo (Las Américas) or Samaná (El Catey). From Santo Domingo it's about three hours by road; from El Catey about an hour. We coordinate transport for groups, which is how most retreats end up doing it.

Should we rent a car?

It depends. If you want to explore independently, a car helps. If you're mostly on the land doing organized excursions, you can manage without one, moto taxis are available locally and we arrange transport for excursions.

Rooms

What rooms do you have?

Seven A-frame cabins in the trees, ten studios, and eight hostel beds, up to 51 guests onsite, up to 100 with neighboring overflow.

What if guests have different budgets?

That's the point of the room mix. The lead facilitator can take a studio, senior students the A-frames, and crew the hostel, all eating at the same table, all part of the same week.

What if some guests have never done this kind of trip?

That's most groups. The cabins are comfortable, the showers are hot, the food is good, and the wifi is solid for the work and calls that need it. People settle in within a day.

Food

Can you accommodate dietary needs?

Yes. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies, Leisy works with it. We ask for the list a few weeks before arrival.

What kind of food is served?

Dominican food from the garden, changing with the season. Three meals a day are included for retreat groups, plus snacks, tea, and morning coffee.

The land

What about bugs, animals, jungle, weather?

This is the countryside. There are insects, roosters in the morning, and the occasional gecko in a cabin. We tell guests in advance so nobody's surprised, most stop noticing within forty-eight hours.

Can we use the space for plant-medicine work?

Some past groups have done plant-medicine-adjacent work here. We ask facilitators to be transparent about what's planned so we can support it appropriately. We're a working farm, not a clinical setting, our framework is honest conversation, case by case.

Excursions

Can you arrange excursions?

Yes, beach trips, waterfall hikes, horseback riding, ATV tours, whale watching in season, yoga, ice bath, and more. Most groups do one or two across a stay and spend the rest on the land.

Booking & retreats

What does booking look like?

Write to us. We have a call. If it fits, we send a proposal with rooms, dates, food plan, and pricing. A deposit holds the dates.

What does it cost?

It depends on group size, room mix, length of stay, and what you need from us. We price honestly and per group, not per scripted package. The fastest way to a real number is the first conversation.

Have a question that's not here?

Ask us directly, we'll give you a straight answer.
